And even if the judge tells the jury to disregard what the state's attorney had just said because it wasn't supposed to be brought in as evidence it's hard for somebody to unhear something after they heard it and I believe that's why that DEA did that

Melly is really acting very unprofessional. He is acting like he is not on trial for double murder. He looks like he can care less about his deceased best friends. I think its very daming for his case and a true red flag. If I were a juror it would influence me.

My vote is yes to a mistrial. Prosecutor all but accused the defense lawyers of bribery. Yes to cell evidence.

What about the phones of the 2 deceased young men? That would match up location of whereabouts and if Melly was near them

I don't understand this because other cases use the location data as hard core evidence....

I believe Bortlen shot these men and staged the drive by.
I believe he told Melly to get out to avoid being involved but failed to think about the cameras from the studio.

Melly will not snitch and the state is trying to pin it on him.

If Bortlen testifies I’m sure he will plead the 5th.

Why did Bortlen not have a phone one him? Why did he have a spare change of clothes?

RE: does the phone belong to Melly - my old boss was a person of some notoriety within his field. Due to this he NEVER gave out his OWN phone number. Never. He gave out the phone number of a phone that his PA had control of. I wouldn't be surprised if his social media accounts were tied to that phone too. It was his phone, but not really. He made calls from the phone, but he never kept the phone on him. It went back to his PA or their assistant, or sometimes his wife had it. It's easier to filter the B tier (and below) people from his life with a phone like this.

At first I was like ehhh I don't know but the longer this goes I'm feeling like Melly is going to beat this ..the prosecution just lacks evidence in so many areas I don't think they did enough homework before trying this case
