As a 90's kid myself, I enjoyed the film and wasn't going into details about it, and still don't today. I enjoy being entertained and even with more older-mature understanding, still doesn't change my mind. Uma's Poison Ivy's outfits, especially the 1st one most of all, was the best for the character; the 3rd has got to b why now adays she's got a red top. Another reason this movie bombed was the nipple designs, but in 2022 summer, I found this online article that the costume designer based it off of ancient Roman's armor, and has never told anyone till now.

Man this movie was the reason the animated film Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero was delayed so long that when it eventually came out Mr. Freeze had already made his next appearance in the DCAU but it heavily relied on the information of the film which was very confusing for fans.

I've mentioned this before underneath a different video, but I think that while the movie misses the mark on Mr. Freeze and Bane, it portrays Ivy actually pretty well. She's a femme fatale who uses her looks and powers to kill humanity and save plants.

Also, her costumes throughout the movie have a story of themselves. Ivy begins in simple green colors, symbolising spring, then adds some red later on for summer. Near the end of the movie, her outfit is completely red, like autumn, and when she's in Arkham, her prison outfit and messy hair are like winter. Mr. Freeze being her cellmate is part of the symbolism. He is the winter that will kill the flower at the end of her lifespan. For such a silly movie, I've always liked this little detail.

What's kinda sad is that I kinda of see some of them working in their roles HAD they had better script and dialogue to work with, especially Arnold as Freeze IMO

I don't understand why people say Arnold as Freeze was a miscast. Are you kidding? Freeze is portrayed as a ruthless killer who lost all of his emotions due to the situation with his wife and his condition. They hired the Terminator himself as that. Honestly, if it was for the terrible goofy handling of the character, I would say it was perfect casting.

So the cure part that is because mr freeze's wife's illness was in the rapid stage which was late and alfred was in the first stage so they were able to cure him, i know its not something to point out but yeah wanted to point it out
