George Clooney did nothing wrong.

I've given way too much thought into how a "Bat Credit Card" would actually work without revealing Batman's identity.

There is some is some really good stuff in B&R. I love the scene where Bruce comes to visit Alfred after he has become bedridden due to his illness. The way Clooney & Gough play that scene is beautiful. I do not know why it is not respected more it really is one of the best Alfred and Bruce moments in any Batman film. The way Bruce says "I love you old man" is just so heartfelt and genuine.

I blame the fact it was affected by studio and corporate interference. Still, had it not been for Batman and Robin, it wouldn't have pushed WB to get Christopher Nolan to produce Batman Begins

Gosh this is the first Batman & Robin commentary video I've seen that actually SAYS something. It doesn't just do the easy "it's horrible let's make fun of it". Nicely done!

I was about 15 when it came out. It bugged me at the time that they couldn't take the source material as seriously as TAS did. But now I just see it as a fun movie that is a part of Batman's history. Also the B&R logo is pretty amazing.

I remember getting a large George Clooney Batman figure for Christmas in 97.

I watched the VHS as a kid non-stop. I always liked the design of Gotham City.

At least the was one saving grace of the film: Uma Thurman's sexy bodysuit and pantyhose combination for poison ivy

I enjoy so many of your videos. I have watched almost all of them now, and they are so full of interesting facts for any Batman fan or anyone else for that matter. As for Batman & Robin, I was not happy with it when it came out, but I still got all the cards and articles in magazines and books, ( I have a collection of binders with cards etc...) and I would always say to naysayers, "I am a Batman fan! I will always collect all things Batman!" Now, as an older fan with more movies to enjoy, this one just becomes another episode of a larger story. I find many things I like about it. Thanks for taking the time to share so much with us about these movies!

Well one year later Blade came out and it was a massive success. Happy 25th Blade. You came out at the right time and the polar opposite to Batman and Robin

Even if Batman and Robin was disastrous, I can't actually blame Schumacher for the film at all. He and his crew were forced to fulfill Warner's orders because they still wanted parents to buy toys for their children in a clueless way. Plus, Scumacher was humble enough to admit to doing it all wrong, unlike a certain, childish asshole who thinks his take on DC was misunderstood, too complex.

I still remember watching Batman & Robin in theaters when I was 5 and loving it, nipples and all. I was introduced to Batman with the Adam West movie, and always caught BTAS on TV, so I was already used to different tones if Batman. As long as he saved the day, I was a happy kid; and Batman did just that in this movie. Plus, the movie gave me my first movie crush with Poison Ivy.

Another good video dude. Never put down your old videos because you were still learning the tricks of the trade on youtube, and I enjoy coming back to those old videos.

I was a kid who liked Batman and Robin in the late '90s, but I don't see it the same way as I did back then. I can at least watch it as a movie that's so bad it's entertaining. Someone recently made a good point that George Clooney actually is decent at playing the playboy persona of Bruce Wayne. I think it was Vee Infuso who said that.

One thing I'm really looking forward to is you're getting closer to doing no man's land

This is one of the most compassionate takes I've ever seen of this movie, and I give you kudos for that.

The Perfect Cut at 12:16 !! Holy Cutting Skills Batman!!! What a wonderful Video again. May I ask for a favor? I always wanted to see a proper Batman The Animated Series documentary, and yes I know there exists one which can be considered as "fine". But I want to feel the magic and the historical relevants of this favorite interpretation of batman of mine. With the beginnings, the impact, the episodes, the creators, the toys, the 90s feel and everything in between in movie length quality. And if someone can do that then it's you. I know that is a big project which can take months and I really don't mean this as "please do it!" but more like "Is there any chance that you would be interested in doing something like that?"
Great content and a "watch every video" member of your subscribers right here :) usually even watching it on my TV ;)

Way back in the '90's the story I heard was that many people felt Batman Returns was too dark and went too far, such as when the Penguin bites a guy's nose and it gushes blood. Sure people want a dark Batman but suddenly it became a series you couldn't take your kid to see. So starting with Batman Forever WB decided to go the kid friendly route by referencing the campiness of the '60's TV show and by introducing kid partner Robin. So basically the Batman movies went from one extreme to the other, from dark to campy.

As you mentioned, Batman when I was a kid was Adam West and the 1966 tv show was perfect for me at that time (now, it’s just nostalgia). So, I definitely understand your attachment to the B&R movie, which I hated. Thanks for the video!

I was 16 when it came out. I don't remember having strong feelings about it at the time but I haven't watched it since.
