It's all fun and games until you hit something you can't see and damage your mower

Whether it’s residential or commercial, most mowers are finishing mowers for a reason and aren’t designed to cut in situations like this where you should be using a brush mower. So for anyone saying this isn’t a commercial mower, at the end of the day not even a commercial mower is purposefully built for this type of growth.

What they don't show is the battery dying after 1.5 more passes 😂

I crack up reading some of these comments. Not just on this video but others too. It's like there's a war between gas and electric mower owners, only the electric owners have no idea 😂 Isn't it obvious that there are situations where each will have advantages and disadvantages over the other? Blows my mind how so many people are offended by change. Same type of people shat their pants when battery powered tools started to get really big hahaha

We have that mower. My husband loves it but our yard isn't crazy like that one

My EGO 2135SP outperforms my Lawnboy Silver Series Duraforce that I used for 21 years!! EGO’s are awesome machines! 👍🏻✌🏻💙

My grass was almost that high when I got my first electric mower because I couldn't use the gas ones anymore. I just angled it up, so it would sort of cut off the top and then let it down and was able to cut without stalling it.

I have had an Ego push mower for about 8 years not one single problem work just as good now as it did new. best investment especially now with gas prices the way they are.

It’s actually a very good mower for smaller yards but don’t do that to it. You’ll mess up the electric motor and possibly the battery as well. Use the trimmer first.

I have done 3 yads this year with a similar height. I love EGO, I got the power Plus, but jobs like these, this is where we need the select cut with dual blades!!!
3 more lawn jobs, and that $750.00 mower will be bought.

I know you didn't finish the whole thing without having to recharge or replace batteries. You probably get 1/3 the runtime with grass that thick.

The mower literally stalled. This is why electric mowers are weak.

My honda would rip right through all that so fast.

Those old craftman Eager-1 tecumsehs said that their mowers had rp reserve power and a mechanical governor to keep blade constant and going in tall grass and weeds to virtually eliminate stalling out in tall grass and weeds even their 3.0 hp reserve power mowers and their 3.5 hp reserve power mowers then they had a solid state ignition to eliminate the need for costly tureups just change the spark plug and automotive air filter there is a you tube video called pushing the craftman mower to its limits and it an Eager-1 tecumseh and it mowed through some pretty tall grass and weeds maybe only stalled out once would like to see it that was true on these Eager-1 tecumseh mowers did the reserve power will help it through tall grass and weeds eliminating stalling out in high grass
