Thankyou Christopher, the thoughts I had were terrible until I hired a lawyer. Now after seeing this video I really appreciate it, you have settled me down, and pushed me to being a better person, I’m starting counseling this week, outpatient counseling as well to get on a better track before court!

Got my 2nd dui last night and it’s sad how parts of your life disappear… I am surprised they let me out after only 7 hours. Idk what to expect

I just got my second dui, its been 4 or 5 years i think. I had just gotten out of an abusive reltionship where dv was involved, i developeed anxiety depression and ptsd so i was drinking alot with my friends to cope. I really feel ashamed that thats how i handked things, but my court date is pushed out to august because of a lack of public defenders, Im hoping i could qualify for the diversion program, since i have a kiddo and i cant serve jail time and leave him alone. I hope everything turns out at least somewhay managable for me.

My life is over.. worried about jail.. might die in there.. but mostly worried about wife and kids.. I let them down..

Hey bro how are you. I have my pre trial coming up in January 22, 2023. The judge only read me charges on first court. But i already got my licence, put the breathalizer in my car, got enrolled in DuI classes, im also going voluntarily yo AA classes, and got myself a full time job at the hospital working like EVS. I got my pretrail in Jan 2023. But i wanted to leave to Alaska after court to work and make money. I know i could ask my dui classes for work permit and they will let me go without reporting to court because its an approved leave. The thing is that i guess theres another court after pretrial. Id wish it was the last one. I did everything on my own without the judge telling me. So in my pre trial ill show him. But do u know if he will still make me do jail time. I dont want to loose my job. Or maybe the job wont let me be on ankle monitor i dk just want to get over the court stuff. Can the pre trial be the last one??? So that i can go to work season? Soo many questions..damm

Got my second, have to pay $125 a month alcohol interlock in car for a year, $75 for probation that’s for 1 year, and alcohol class for 26 weeks that’s $60 a week, it’s not the worst but the interlock in my car is the worst part, nothing but problems, oh yea 3k for a lawyer

Your video has been the most informative, I’ve been looking through videos but non really give the after math. I just recently received my 2nd DUI and I am just thinking the worst. My fear is getting jail time. I’ve talking with so many lawyers and they just confuse me more, or the prices are ridiculous. I don’t want my job to know with the fear of loosing my job. If I may ask, did you legal representation? And what was your first hearing like? With my first DUI i never got served or went to court, i just had my license suspended. Any information would be appreciated.

are you a trucker? I love driving but got my 2nd dwi march 2024 and my lawyer never told me bout the administrative side being on your record for life. but he cleared me from the criminal side of it. I lost my driving job and fell into deep depression man.
