I was 50/50 on whether this would be a derpcoin ad or an actual tip. I wasn't disappointed. Thank you X

I like that this sounds like a scam video from 2012, but actually works.

Tipp 2: Go to your fellow hermits chest, look into it and let the diamonds "glitch" into your pockets^^

Thought he would troll us by saying "Use Fortune III" .
Wasn't disappointed

Btw, the times you can't find diamonds doing this trick are when a spawnable terrain item like lava chambers or dirt patches overrides the diamond's location, much like in the swamp clay trick.

If it doesn’t work, you need to press F3 + G and if you hit a chunk border continue counting from there. So if the lapis were 2 blocks south of the chunk border, from the other side of the border just count at 3 and dig down!

I understand you probably didn't include the second half of this trick to keep it short and easy to understand. For those curious, turn on chunk borders. If you go north and hit a chunk wall, go 16 blocks south, then continue your counting north from the southern chunk wall.

Example: If you count two blocks and are now at a chunk wall, walk 16 blocks south to the southern chunk wall, then count 2 blocks north from the southern chunk wall, then dig down.

It's like word wrapping but for digging.

This is one of those things that people would believe back in the old days, then say it's fake during 2014-2017, then end up being true all along

I should tell everyone that this only works on about 76% of world seeds, so if it’s not working for you that could be why

Two questions?
1. Which update are you on?
2. Does this work in bedrock?

I've heard diamonds can also lag from mumbos chest into your inventory. It's a thing.

I really wanted to be that guy who thought he'd say: ''Get fortune III'' (and yes I still know that doesn't guarantee triple yield)

Hey Xisuma, how about covering the tuff block method which similiar to lapis can help find diamonds.
It works along those lines:
-Find tuff patch
-Go to the highest layer of the patch
-Find the furthest north-west block for said layer,
-Mine 5 blocks north and you get diamonds or 11 blocks south if you hit chunk border

Do this every time you find diamonds in reverse and you'll triple your lapis!!! Or sum like that lol

I tryed this on my realm and discovered it didn't work. Then I went into creative mode test world and tested it and it did work. Later I looked into the clay trick you probably have heard, the discoverer of this trick claimed it work for 87% of seeds and i suspect something similar might be true for this trick.

Comment your thoughts

I've know about this for a little bit, but I messed around with this a little after seeing this clip try and confirm a couple of things.
1), This seems to work better on chunks generated in 1.17.
2), If your counting to 4 goes up to or through a chunk border, you need to warp to the opposite side of the chunk to continue counting.
