I found some yesterday at the gym couldn’t find the person cause he walk out the gym so I kept them, they were tracking me cause a message pop up on my phone, so I reset them does that mean they can’t track me no more ??

no you can’t certain features are disabled until they are removed from the original owners apple id and they can still see where the airpods are this just removes the name

I found a pair of stolen AirPod gen 3s at work. I resented them after work since I work day shift and they work arvo/night shift meaning they finish late n most likely go to sleep afterwards. Can they still track me after I’ve reset the AirPods from holding down the set up button n then connecting it to my iPad? Is it possible for them to still find the AirPods that I took?
