My 1st gen Apple Pencil doesn’t charge anymore in my iPad. It falls out too easily. So if I have to, I charge it in my phone, but usually I charge it on the cable setup in my room.

I have to charge it like that because my amazing trait is that I lose everything. I’ve lost the charging cable, the replaceable tips and even the end to the pen. I’ve lost the pen multiple times but luckily found it, probably to the fact the cover is bright yellow. I have to try and keep every thing in places I don’t forget. I figured out I could charge it in the iPad after putting it in to connect the too and seeing it was being charged XD

For the people confused, you can plug it into your phone, the actual iPad, or any other device with a charging port like that

Edit: you can’t plug it into AirPods 😔

For the people that are confused they are trying to show that instead of charging it on your iPad, you can charge it on your phone and it will still work on your iPad

Mine charges on top of my iPad and the case makes space for it on top. So my case is made for my iPad and a Apple Pencil 😊
