Making this now and l added a small chicken breast organic and less patatos and put my parsnips in it. Smells so good, can't wait to be done. I'm doing a fast for 10 days. Juices, creamy soups and smoothies only. If l can continue l will extend for 20 days. ☺️

I never have any crème about so I added some butter to melt in once done. The soup still tasted amazing!

My recipe is similar, but sans the celery and parsley. I'll have to make a batch using your recipe and give it a try. I cook mine in my Instant Pot. 15 minutes high pressure, then 20-30 minutes before manual pressure release. A hand blender makes it quick and easy to finish up.

That's an IRISH homemade soup.. And your not meant to use a sieve.. Its sapozed to be thickish and your meant to feel the potatoes been slushy in your mouth all after its blended.. I've been a chef and I've been making this soup for 16 years.. I started wen I was 15.. Its nicer without cream aswel
