I thought google won’t support any of the Nest hardware moving forward?? Did something change?

IMO this is a poorly designed system. The dead bold requires a 1" diameter hole. If your existing bolt was inserted into a 7/8" hole, have fun enlarging the hole! Yale should have used a more narrow bolt and provided a sleeve in case of bigger holes. Also, note that the video jumped to tightening screws at 8:18. The screws are tiny and the holes are hard to reach. Drop it and have fun disassembling everything when it falls into the mechanism. A factory reset requires taking it apart to access the reset button. What ever happened to "keep it simple...?"
