SSD Video 4 - Super Torture Test

Hi everyone!

Thought I'd craft up some SSD-oriented videos since everyone seems to be doing the same.
These drives are made of pure legendary awesomeness!

This last lengthy video showcases the test being executed from the Windows splash screen until all programs either hang or finish loading.

Forgive me as I know my stopwatch on the phone kept dimming - I had only thought about changing it to an "always-on" mode after these clips were shot. The time may not be perfect but it's synched up as close as I can to compare...

Also you can note a dim part or two once the Raptor is by itself and read the timer going. I have not doctored the results - merely sped up the later half of the video as I had to create the entire clip within Youtube's 10 minute limit and the Raptor takes longer than that to load everything.

Before I get tons of questions:
CPU Specs:

Dell XPS 410
CPU: Intel Quad Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz (stock speeds)
RAM: DDR2 4GB @ 667mhz
Graphics: EVGA Geforce 9800GTX+
HDDs: Intel X-25M 160 GB SSD
Western Digital Velociraptor 150 GB (10,000 RPM)
(other drives for media and photos of course)

@nationaleventphoto What do you mean? This drive does not slow down at all.

Actually on the contrary, for the most part, more cores do equate to faster performance. If you look at things like audo encoding, video encoding, 3d rendering, Photoshop, or even just want some spare power, a quad-core system can still very much improve productivity.

Some programs are CPU bound, GPU bound, or have other limitations. Though an SSD may (or may not) improve the system depending on what program you run, more CPU cores are almost always a good thing.
