Without a doubt, Nada, while making things easy to understand and apply to an individual's use case, you give the some of the most comprehensive evaluations of these drives on the 'net.

Please continue the excellent presentations.

I bought the 4tb version to house all my Steam games. It only arrived today and I haven't had a chance to paste all my games over yet. I'm hoping for faster load times. Great video btw.

Your channel got recommended at the right time for me. I saw this gen 4 4tb model for basically the same price as the gen 3 version, and have been considering it as my big game library, it will only be going in a gen 3 slot, but considering its only around £10/20 more for me, i might as well go gen 4, in case i get a mobo with more gen 4 slots. Considering it is half the price of other gen 4 drives at the 4tb capacity, its good to know that it still performs well enough that it will be perfect as a game drive.

Thanks for showing the temperature.
I think Sequential write speed gone so high because of the SLC cache. The 2TB version of P3 plus has approx 550GB of SLC cache which is approx 250GB for 1TB version. So, sequential write speed will drop down when writing sequentially more than the capacity of slc cache. And I think no one need to write so large file bigger than 250GB(1TB) or 550GB(2TB).

I bought the P3 Plus 4tb. I am very happy with it. I was going to buy the P5 Plus but it is not availabe in 4tb. I have a mini pc so capacity was important.

I just bought the p3 plus 1TB for £42 and the samsung 980 pro that my mate bought the month before was more than double the price. For the price this is an excellent piece of kit and well worth the money, also the speeds for the p3 and p5 tend to above the stated speeds so you know your getting your moneys worth.

Thank you! I bought a PC second hand that had 2 spare SSDs, this drive and the WD SN750 SE. I didn't know which one would be the better choice to throw in my PS5 so thank you for helping me decide! (Although it looks like I should be on the hunt for a better SSD in the future! Not to mention a heatsink.)

wait, you are testing all of these on a PCIe Gen 5 system? I would love to see the exact same drives all tested on a Gen 3 system. To really determine where higher gen drives make sense for a lower gen system. I imagine mostly the not so important sequential speeds are cut down by lower gen systems, but better performance, IOPS, etc will still shine through.

This video just saved me! I order the P3 instead of the Plus variant. First time buying a Crucial SSD. Didn't realize they had a difference.

Good to see you back. Was worried something happened. Would love to see your opinion on the new SN850x. I got the 2TB version and it's smoking fast.

Great video! Thanks for breaking these products down!

As these are going in a little NAS with 4 slots (x1 lanes each), a pair of these at 4 TB each will be more than adequate for only $209 each as a semi-fast mirrored pair...

Yeah I’m just chasing a couple of 4tb m.2’s to put in Raid 0 for extra storage… so should work fine

Just got ANOTHER 4tb p3 plus, for £169.99

A great drive. I have a 2TB Samsung 990 pro as my C: drive, but for storing videos and games, I prefer them on the p3 pluses.
