Never, ever sell something rare and/or valuable without going through a third party who vets these people, the funds for the purchase are put into an escrow account, and you do not deal with them directly. Use a broker/dealer/transaction coordinator to handle the transaction. Do not go on a test drive without doing your homework first. Have someone follow behind you. Such a sad story.

I find it really cool that the guy who got me started watching reactions (YOU!!!) has discovered one ofmy other favorites, Mr. Ballen. He has done a few others on the valor of American soldiers. I can't even imagine the fear and horror Tom and Jackie were experiencing in those moments. What was supposed to be a fun and celebratory day for them, I can't even should have all received the death penalty, but the one consolation was that the young woman was forever separated from her baby. In her greed she lost everything!!

I have heard of this one, Jamel. It’s the stuff of nightmares. The best thing about the couple’s sentences, is that their children will never have to know them as their parents. If they ever find out who their parents are, it will be more as a horrendous curiosity than as Mom and Dad. It will still hurt, but hopefully they will be able to put a boundary between themselves and those people they never really knew.

I saw this story a couple of years ago. It's things like this, what Skylar did, _chaining Tom & Jackie together, throwing that anchor overboard, _ the image in my mind of them _"alive"_ & _helplessly pulled down into the water thousands of feet deep!_ it's things like that that make me want criminals who hurt people to suffer as much as possible then die! It makes me lose my humanity! And I hate the criminals even more for that!

I watched a TV program about this case many years ago. it is so disturbing thinking about how they died. The terror they must've felt is beyond comprehensible.

The older I get, the more I have realized how women have the ability to disarm a man and to get him to let his guard down. The boat owner's gut told him that these were bad men, but seeing the wife and child got them to ignore their first gut instincts. It really is unbelievable how treacherous some people can be in this world, and even if you have your guard up, you just never know who it's gonna be.

I saw this story on 20/20.. so monsterous what happened to Tom and Jackie. The EVIL within these killers was so unimaginable, all for an old yacht and money. There is no words to describe what these two poor folks experienced before their death, knowing they were going to die this horrible death.

The way Jackie and Tom died was incomprehensible. The fear and terror that I’m sure they felt, I cannot even imagine. Their poor Children, knowing the way that their Parents died had to to have left them with terrible mental scars. These people that killed this wonderful and loving Couple at least got a sentence that keeps them from hurting another Family. It wasn’t just Jackie and Tom that they killed, they broke the hearts of their Children. They died a sort of mental death, because when a Parent dies part of yourself goes with them. You are never the same, these kids will never have closure. My advice to anyone wanting to sell something big like a boat, house, car etc.. is get a Reputable Broker to sell your property, whatever it may be. Yes, it may cost a fee, but it could also save you. REST IN PEACE to Jackie and Tom and may God comfort Their Family.

COLD, COLD, COLD. Skylar had no normal human feelings. It's doubtful he even really cared about his wife & baby in a warm way. So sorry for Tom & Jackie, and their kids & family. Be careful which strangers you trust IF your instincts warn you. RIP
