You can absolutely murder your legs with just split squats or lunges. Working out alone, you can go to complete failure as opposed to doing barbell squats. And I just prefer the feel to leg press. It just feels like a safer movement, and its easy to get to the point of nearly dry heaving.

Alternate dumbbell lunges are great. I used them many times at the end of my leg routine and got great results on both size and definition.

I can't get myself into doing lunges. I know I should but for some reason I feel like I just can't get started with I cooperating it. Maybe I'm just lazy and making excuses or something. It I feel like I don't have the flexibility to feel motivated to do it. Also it feels awkward like I'm not doing it right or something like I'm too tempted to not keep my body in line. I think maybe I should start by doing partial lunges just to build the form and flexibility and motivation to go deeper later on.

Meter 100 distance is consist of not a much repetition than 100 walking lunges, each lunge go forward ⏩, and every lunges is approx 1 meter to next leg step 🪜 approx 1 meter, so in the end the waking lunges is between 100 to 150 lunges for 100 meter only
