It’s nice that companies are investing in javascript frameworks, it will help in having more javascript frameworks

I really appreciate the short form videos and how packed they are with content. Thanks to YouTube for the 1.5x speed button. I can watch your 100 second videos in 66 seconds

It's so nice of Remix supporting small businesses

Completely agree with what you said about svelte. It gets rid of the needless complexity of state management in react, by using native JavaScript assignment. It’s so much more enjoyable to work with, and results in a smaller bundle.

Sveltekit for the win! Would love to see a full course on the rebuild...

I personally never minded react staying client side and handling my backend with other frameworks. But the ecosystem seems to be pushing hard towards react server components - a direction I hope doesn’t backfire on us.

Just happy to see multiple frameworks are funded. This is the next level of web where we try to integrate the backend(s) at the right abstraction layer.

As I learned more about Next 13 I did start to wonder how it would affect Remix. Must have been demoralizing to see Next 13 implement some Remix core features.

I write React daily, but seeing companies continually invest big in React frameworks as we're nearing 2023, saddens me. Other frameworks have long surpassed React in every aspect, and the community needs a shove in the right direction by a big big player betting on something else.

When devs talk more about frameworks than about patterns, system design, good code practice, etc, we have a big big problem, don't cry when you see shitty code if the hot talk is only on big abstractions.

How is nuxt being not mentioned when svelte and qwik is mentioned? I'm talking about Nuxt 3, is it because it's not RC yet or is svelte or qwik is better ?

"Big move from Team Shopify to trade-up x spots and snipe Remix. This probably shuffled everyone's draft board. I wonder who's coming off the board next? Tanner? Donny? Tailwind? Tune in for Week 2 of JS Drafts!"

Once I started using Svelte there's no way back to React. Period.

Shopify invests a ton of money into their DX, their docs are top notch, so I trust them to support Remix.

Now if BigCommerce could do half of what Shopify does...

I would also like to listen to how you think about the contemporary backend framework ecosystems!:)

The great latest chapter of javascript framework war.
Yeah, it's True. A lot of companies chose Svelte over React to build their enterprise project.
