Removing the inputs button is one of the most irritating trends in the TV industry. For many users who rely on an apple TV/Google TV/set top boxes/consoles/HTPC for playback, basically the only thing the TV remote gets used for is turning the TV on and off, and switching inputs - and one of those no longer has a dedicated button.

Someone's grandparents aren't going to work out you have to hold down the home button, and they may struggle with navigating the home menu. I genuinely think these decisions receive zero end-user testing.

Just got a C4 65" for 1700e - very pleased and honestly I dont know how much more bright we need these TVs to be. I feel the brightness is already more than enough in 99% of cases.

If LG G5 model can provide better color brightness as mentioned in the video and get closer to QD-OLED in terms of color gamut this would be a great improvement.

This "magic remote" is absolutely not made for my grandmother! I just bought a second remote for her new LG TV and used electrical tape to disable all the buttons except power, the numbers, volume and channel up/down. Unfortunately the TV doesn't let me configure an app to launch at start, so she has to remember to hold down 1, and she doesn't even remember what city she's in.

0:55 Mathematically "Three Times Higher" can only mean 6x3=18.
But I will grant you language is a tricky thing, if LG meant to say "three additional multiples" then that would be 2, 400 nits, but that would require something was lost in translation from Korean to English.

I’m so glad you mentioned what you did at 3:30!! That elevated blacks bothered the heck out of me!! Hated MLA & QDOLED for that reason. I liked my G2 better. Now I can look forward to upgrading!!
Now let’s just hope for a price decrease of the 97” 😅
