I noticed that when you got in to the van after washing the van, you sat in your seat, closed the door and started talking to the camera. Lock your door as soon as you get in, no matter where you are!

I am glad you are safe. As a solo female vanlifer I would get a dog. They alert you to noises even before anyone gets close to your rig.

He knew you were in there. I had a guy standing at the light, staring daggers at me and my instinct told me to lock the door. He acted like he was crossing the street, then quickly diverted and grabbed my door handle. He was a white male with dead eyes. Once he failed, his whole posture immediately changed into a "poor beggar looking for pocket change." I drove off when the light changed. From that day on, my doors are locked before the door closes! So glad you are ok!!!

Having worked in the security and investigation field for the last 20 years, I think you really came close…..That guy probably watched you for a long time. He believed you were alone and therefore vulnerable. Stay safe young lady ❤

My uncle was a deputy sheriff. He said the best thing you can do is hit the panic alarm on your key fob. I sleep with my keys by my bed if I hear anything at night.

Hey, forgive yourself for parking in a vacant lot and forgetting to lock your doors. It was supposed to happen that way because you were able to experience the Holy Sprit alerting you and prompting you. Hey Noami, I don't normally comment on videos; but I wanted to let you know that you probably did lock the doors. There is a gadget (idk what it's called) that can unlock electric locks. I heard about it from my mom (she saw another van lifer fall victim to it- thank God they weren't hurt). You should make locking the deadbolts to your driver and passenger doors a part of your routine. You should also look into deadbolting the sliding door (if they don't already come with it) since they're also electrical. Don't beat yourself up over this incident, you did the right things in listening to the Holy Spirit and acting fast. I hope my comment helps! God bless 💖
