“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.

Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.

Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.

Welcome to the Young Nails family!

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! Y’all have literally taught me everything I know and because of you and your products of course I am the amazing nail tech that I am. Your videos inspired me to become a nail tech in the first place and I was gonna give up until Tracy said it used to take her 5 hours too for a long time... Thank you Trac cause you said that at the exact moment I was gonna give up and that pushed me to continue on 🙏🏼

I can’t stop staring at Tracy’s nails.. they are too far away to see! I want to reach into the screen and grab that left hand and see what you are working with 😂

Yes! My lifting stopped with using Swipe and a nail brush to prep! That plus your protein bond changed my game! Thank you so much for your education videos!

The instructor I have most difficulty with came by my table while I was applying Protein Bond on a client during a service and wanted to know what I was doing? I smiled through my mask and answered, “A proper preparation to prevent lifting!” Later, she came back when I was getting ready to polish and I was using the Protein Bond again. She wanted to know why I was using it again and I nicely offered to send her links to your videos. It would be great if she would watch a few and get on the same page. It might make her job easier and my school experience more enjoyable.

🤟💙My biggest issues is blending the cuticle area where it doesn’t look like a press on nail! I have def made improvements with practice ..but it’s hard to get it 👌 perfect..like I need it to be !! It ends up looking like a pistachio 💯🥜 💕I saw a clip on IG talking about this but I cannot find the vid on here so maybe you’ve already talked about it 🤓😂 🤗

I love watching your videos, the only problem I have is that I am unable to do acrylic, I am 73 and have to use gel all the time, I am not as fast as I used to be and of course I do shake a little would love more about gels ?

Most cleansers contains isopropyl alcohol and acetone so I make my own by using 70-80% alcohol (amount not alcohol percentage) and 20-30% acetone and that works great for me! 😊 and I don't know why but I have never had any problems with either top coat or gel polish chipping even if I buff the surface really smooth, maybe I have just been lucky 😆
I love all your tips and tricks, they're really good! ❤
I also use a 150 grit hand file when I'm prepping and that has changed the longevity of my nails! I used to buff because that's what I was taught, then someone told me that it actually makes the nails too smooth for the gel to grip on to the nails and I got a "A-ha" moment 😂 after I changed to a file I noticed a massive difference!! 😃🥰

Wow u guys are Amazing! Literally crammed the best tips in under 10 minutes. It was through watching your videos i learned that the 180 can cause lifting i was so surprised 😮 cause I thought 180 was ideal to use but I stopped using a buffer a while back because Tracey said she never does and explained why which made sense to me. I still see a lot of techs using a 180grit and buffer and not protein bonding before top coat and they say they don't get any lifting or chipping. I guess it also depends on an individuals nail plate its like the canvass it makes a difference too.
I hope u can make swipe available on Amazon so I can get my hands on it -otherwise is it ok to do a 50 alcohol 50 acetone combo for prep and removing the tacky layer??

I was surprised that so many people said yes to the question about using nail polish remover to soak off acrylic 😂😂

Now a days everyone is washing there hands a lot and using sanitizer. Because of this I’ve changed the soap I use for clients to wash there hands. Another tech told me if you are using soap with moisturizers it can act like a barrier on the nail plate which can lead to lifting. So I changed this with my prep and it helps.
