This video is so helpful.. the product videos just shows a quick minute video and skips all these steps to make the products look so easy to use.. and then you wonder why you don’t get the same results

You are awesome! I used to do my dip nails about three years ago myself and then I stopped doing them. I went last month and had them done at a salon for $55 and they came beautiful! Now it’s time to take them off I said wow this is going to be challenging. So I just saw your video and said wow I can do that myself again. I’ll just be careful about all these mistakes. I have all the stuff I had so I’m going to try on my own again thanks for all the tips.💜

Planning to do my first dip today 🤞🏽 so I found your video very helpful. I just want to give a big shout out to that one finger that was sacrificed for our knowledge. Your sacrifice was not in vain 😂 thank you.

Here’s a tip ☝🏼
When doing your first layer go to your mid nail & down stroke with the brush, not all the way to the top by cuticle. Doing this will add a nice curve to the nail vs looking straight & flat on top :)

I’ve been using dip powder for a month and couldn’t get my nails to turn out like I wanted them. These tips helped me achieve the perfect dip manicure! Thank you so much!

What I do with the top coat is generally do my dip through the activator in the evening, and wait until the next day to put top coat. I wash my hands in water only, no soap, dry them, and then do the top coats, waiting between coats. I've ruined bottles of top coat at the beginning by not waiting after the activator. This tip is also great for moms because it gives you a good stopping point if the kids need you!

I never knew you were supposed to “prime” your hand files. Lol. I literally learn something new everyday! Thanks for the tip!

Thank you so much, Carole Annette!! I really appreciate the time you've taken to do this video. It's an active kindness. Been doing my nails for a little while now since COVID ( immuno compromised ). Was getting bored, so decided I would learn to do nails on my own, but only discovered dip kits last spring. II have had most of these problems, criticized myself severely, despite getting lots of compliments. I did not realize there were solutions which mostly require a little patience. I will be checking out your channel for more wonderful advice!

I know this was a long video but the information was extensive, really helpful for someone who’s never used dip nails.

I mean priming your file who would have thought, the times I’ve hurt my skin with a new file.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

I’ve been doing my own nails for a year and still have technique questions. My results are pretty good, but it takes *hours* to do them because I’m unknowingly making mistakes and have to correct them. Your videos are just what I need! Count me in as a new subscriber. 😄

My nail tech moved so I decided to dip. I didn't take the time Friday when I did them so I took the time today. I've watched many of your videos and they've been so helpful! My nails turned our much better!

I've been dipping for a yesr and a half but still found a couple helpfuls. One thing I found when I've hardened top coat brushes Is, they are removable from the cap. Amazon sells replaceable brushes in a bag. Buy not only that, the original brush can be soaked over night in acetone (I use a small jar with lid), wash with soap & water, let dry and it is reusable too.

New subscriber here... I LOVE the "priming your files" tip! I've cut, or scraped my cuticles, too many times and I've never thought to file the edges! THANKS! 😃
