Just became a fish mommy for the first time ever! I had two guppies that had NOT done a thing in over 6 months, i was convinced both were male at this point until a dew days ago there were BABIES! Just 8 but i cant handle more anyway. Havent lost any and cant wait to see them grow, it really is special!

I have baby bristlenose plecos, and balloon mollies and it is fun watching the babies grow up. I wasn't even trying to breed them.

I loved breeding my guppies until I had like 50 in a 10 gallon tank with no where else to put them. So I gave them to a lfs who was very grateful & gave me store credit which I used to get my filtration updated.

I have a 40gal and omg these guppies are out of control!
There's a least 80 fry in this tank and I'm so excited to see them grow and also have some friends taking some.
Awesome video guys!
Anyone want some guppies

I love how the Angel looks like it's nipping John's ear at 1:41 :)

I accidently "bred" my first single snail. She turned out hundreds (if not thousands) of baby snails that I didn't even know existed until long after she was gone. She died in some corner and I didn't know anything about snails; I still don't. She dissolved in her corner and left behind a shell. After changing tanks, I noticed that there were many snails living within the gravel. Before I knew about the baby snails, I was disappointed that the snail didn't last long; but she ended up contributing to the longest living legacy of the entire tank. That extra civilization under the rocks was a nice thing to think about while I watched the community and relaxed.

Thank u so much John & Lisa that was a very interesting video! I was keeping marine fish! I loved it but it used far too much electric so I'm trying to make up my mind what fish to keep! 😃👍

ANGELFISH ARE AWESOME AND GETTING THEM TO SPAWN IS FAIRLY EZ BUT GETTING THE EGGS THE HATCH OUT CAN BE BE FRUSTRATING BUT WITH SOME PATIENCE SUCCESS IS INEVITABLE. GOOD STUFF J&L 😎👍

I agree with raising them up ❤ i love bettas and being still a beginner it can be tricky, had a fry loss (not sure what happened) then had bigger fry trying to eat other fry anyways now I have 6 🥺 and they are so precious, everytime I walk by the tank, it makes me happy knowing it isn't a lot like others can achieve but ... they look beautiful and are growing with different colors. (Also plan on keeping them all lol)

I used to breed guppies, goldfish and bettas and I know the feeling of getting attached to every little fish and how special they feel🤩

I can get any fish to spawn by serenading them.

Corydoras are super easy, too. I got a few in in my guppy tank and have just about as many baby corydoras as I do baby guppies

Awesome video KG Tropicals.👍
Ive a question could you do a video on the top 10 easiest fishes to raise from eggs or fry to adults.
Breeding fishes are mostly IMO the easy part but raising fry and necessary requirements for growth are the real challenge.
Thank you for sharing

I accidentally bred platies. Didn’t know I HAD them till they were about an inch long;must’ve been hiding in the decor. There were ALOT in there! I kept a few but with a 10 gallon I didn’t have a lot more room. Sold them to my local pet store and made a good 30 or 40 bucks. 40 bucks more than I thought I would have! 🐠❤️🐠❤️

This last is like "it's so magical knowing you raised this fish from fry" and I'm thinking what's the easiest thing to breed to keep my bass and catfish fed? 😂

I just got my first mollies I have ever owned a couple of months ago and they are Dalmatian mollies. I did my research and found out that I had a male and a female molly and I saw my female molly was growing faster and more round but was not showing pine coning or any other signs of dropsy and was eating, so I figured out that I was at some point going to be a grandma which technically if you count the Malaysian trumpet snails in my 10 gallon I am already am. I do wish that I did more in dept research on mollies because I am a little bit nervous about having fry to take care of that is if they even survive. I don't have co2 and the plants in the tank have not grown in yet and it is a tank with African dwarf frogs so no floating plants. I am also worried if they do survive how much more of a waste load and at what age can I rehome. I love my mollies and would never give them up. I don't want it to come across that I am not excited for fry, I am but I also am cautious as well. My mollies and Platies always swim up to the surface begging for food whenever I enter my room, and they are so cute.
