If Twitter disappears it won't be a loss to humanity.

I love how obvious it is that he NEVER intended to actually buy Twitter. The man clearly had no plan whatsoever. He got what he deserved, but I feel terrible for the bottom level guys who thought they had secure careers that got thrown into limbo by a billionaire who doesn't know when to close his damn mouth

They’re worried about ex employees sabotaging the company?

What about the CEO sabotaging the company?

Long hours + high intensity = business speak for "I'm going to treat you like a slave."

First musk insulted his employees assuming that they don’t work hard enough, and insulted them again by assuming that they are saboteurs

Good for them. Choosing where and for whom to work for is everyone's prerogative.

the fact that twitter thought they needed 7k employees and he's operating it at 700 to 1000 saving lots of cost and boosting his profits.

Good for them. Workers have the right to work in a comfortable, supportive environment. Yes, people need to work hard and be productive, but it’s not unreasonable to expect sustainable hours, a manageable workload and a living wage.

I don't think they don't want to work long hours. They just don't want to work for a bully.

Proves once again that intelligence and leadership are two very different things.

I hope this is also a lesson to all employers to treat employees with respect. They are the lifeline of the business

When Musk entered the Twitter HQ with a sink, he meant he was going to sink Twitter

He made a show of his intention to 'sink' the business when he walked in with a sink in his arms. Why is anyone surprised?

No big loss to the world... there are plenty of other social media platforms... next one that needs to go is Facebook ... people need to start talking in person again ...

I worked in tech for 30+ years. When I interviewed for a job and negotiated a salary it was for a 40-hour work week, not 60-80 hours or more. If they wanted me to work overtime they should have to pay me for it. I fixed that problem by working as a contractor instead of a full time employee and got paid for every hour I worked. The hourly rate as a contractor was much higher than the position would be as salaried. My respect for Elon Musk has taking a nose dive. He moved to Austin, TX, where I live and immediately declared himself a Republican. That is so he can get special favors from the Texas Legislature which is majority Republican.

The point is Elon doesn't understand how his nasty habit can quickly bring down his other companies.
