Turmoil At Twitter After More Than 1,200 Employees Resign

The New York Times is reporting that as many as 1,200 Twitter employees resigned after new CEO Elon Musk gave them an ultimatum to work harder or resign. This comes as Musk sent out a tweet asking users whether or not former President Donald Trump’s account should be reinstated.

Not that the MSM would ever tell the public this (if they’re even smart enough to know) but Musk’s ultimatum was genius. Employees chose to self-identify as the most ideal folks to leave the company during the culling of the herd. With those employees voluntarily resigning, it is absolutely the most cost-effective, efficient, and low risk method of Musk reducing staff. Think about all the analysis, evaluation, documentation and potential legal risk that comes with terminating/laying off an employee. And it’s this way for any business. Twitter does not need to do any of those things! The employees took care of all those steps at no cost to Twitter and in a matter of days.

And all of these news outlets talking about the pending demise of Twitter is such a joke. Twitter had 7500 employees to do what….basically run a website/app. Now they’re down to 2500. That’s still thousands of people to run a website!! It’s gonna go down a lot further just wait. Compare this to the number of employees for Whatsapp at just 55 people. Or how about MSNBC at 950 employees! And MSNBC does a lot more than run a website, it produces videos and news content 24/7. Nearly all of Twitter’s content comes from customers at no cost or effort to the company. Twitter is just a frickin’ website! Can’t wait to watch the MSM continue to meltdown as more staff reductions occur and Twitter continues to not go out of business. 😊
