Dr. Ainsley MacLean received her medical degree from Brown University. She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in neuroradiology at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and is board-certified in both. Dr. MacLean is the Principal Investigator for the Kaiser Permanente Study Site of the TMIST Breast Cancer Screening Trial from the National Cancer Institute, and previously the Principal Investigator for the Brevera Breast Biopsy Trial. She is passionate about enhancing the patient care experience, in particular for women undergoing screening mammography. She and her team at Kaiser Permanente implemented a service in which screening mammogram results are delivered to patients within 60 minutes, eliminating sleepless nights for tens of thousands of women annually.
