I bought a juki TL-18QVP model in February 2021. I love this machine it sews great. I also have a Husqvarna machine with all the bells and whistles but I sew on my Juki most of the time. I retired a couple of years ago so I sew several hours a day. Thanks for another great video.

Oh Michelle! I do not have a Juki but sure like all the features! These tips are great for all machines. Especially reading the manual. Great video!

I just bought an 18 QVP Juki which is pretty much the same machines with a couple extras. I’ve had a devil of a time figuring out that needle threader. I’ll try again after seeing this. Thanks!

I have the platinum edition and absolutely love it. I also accidentally cut thread constantly but I love the feature so much, I just back up and keep on. I like the light tip, I need to get one of those. It is a needy machine having to oil it so much but so worth it!

Awesome video. I really like the part about using the correct oil. It’s also important for guns, cars, etc. But I honestly did not know sewing machine oil was a thing. I thought people just used 3 in 1. I love you!!💕💕💕

Thanks for this video Michelle. You gave some good tips I didn’t get the silver edition but I bought the Juki 2010Q. I didn’t read the manual or oil it. I guess I better do that. Every thing you said is absolutely true. I couldn’t get the threader to thread for me at all!

I love my Juki Haruka and all the accessories that came with it. As far as the threader goes, I did have issues as well until I realized that lifting the needle to it's highest point and lowering the foot was so so important.

I have the Juki TL18. I love it! These are all such great tips! I’ll have to get the light for under the throat as it is hard to see when sewing. Something that helped me when using my needle threader was to make sure I had enough thread in my hand, put the presser foot down so the tension was tight, and once I had the thread in the right place for the needle threader, to let go of the thread right before letting go of the needle threader. It reminded me of using a clutch….all about timing.

Your video is great! This newer version has more features and equipment! I’ve not found a wali g foot to fit my machine. I have the Judi PQ1500SL. I will oil before use as your showed! Thanks from Iowa!

Here I am searching Juki reviews and comparisons to decide if this is what I want to purchase. Your video came up in my feed. I wasn't aware you owned a Juki. 😊 Thank you for the tips. How do you like it? Yours is beautiful. I'm looking at the 2000 model.

On the Juki Junkies website they show you how to straighten the needle threader hook if it gets bent. Also pushing the needle up/down once positions the needle for threading.

I love my Juki but I too gave up on the threader. The foot pedal gave me issues at first but I do not recall getting that handy tool. I think my foot pedal is dead and I am waiting to see if it will work or not in a few days when I can get back to sewing. Your tips are great and I am going to go look for the trap door now!!

Thankyou for this! I wish wish wish we got that model in the uk! Such a stunning looking machine, I recently picked up a Janome 1600p very similar looking machine, it has the same threader and I find I have to almost over exaggerate the thread going around the threader for the machine to grace me with a threaded needle 😆, fabulous video. I have a Juki DX7 which I adore but I’d love to swap my Janome for a Juki QVP I’m the near future so I am left with The DX7, Babylock serger, babylock coverstitch, bernina 1230 and then the juki qvp2200

When I'm down there trying to find that little slit to pull the curly cotton thread thru I just thread the needle. It's so much easier for me instead of the un natural twisting of the wrist and smacking my fingers. I've threaded a needle for 40 years until my Bernina threader but it actually works easily without having to put my face on the bed of the machine to find the little slit. Figuring it out wasn't the problem how it functions is very awkward. Are you using that needle threader every single time? I didn't get that foot peddle block with my machine but I'm looking for it today. Did you figure out pulling the threads thru on thread changes instead of threading the whole machine? Great video thank you.

With the needle threader use the switch to raise the needle full first and let go of the thread as well as the threader. I find it works great.

I have the Juki TL2010Q and mine did not come with the stopper on the foot pedal. Maybe that was specific to your version. I purchased a large Sew Steady extension table to do free motion quilting. It is bigger than the one that came with my machine. Also, I use different size makeup brushes that have synthetic bristles to clean the lint off my machine. The synthetic bristles are like magnets to the lint.

The best tip for the needle threader is to always do a needle up and down with the button FIRST! That positions it in the correct spot. Then make sure you have your presser foot in the lowered position. Bring the needle threader down and wrap the thread around the back little hook and into the front slot. You may have to practice it but once you get it, it will thread every time. I don't think it will thread very well on a 70/11 needle but I rarely use that size. Good Luck. There was great information in this video! As is stated, if you clean and oil this wonderful machine, it will be around a long time. It is like the old Singer sewing machines that are over 100 years old....only this one is on steroids!

I will be Unboxing mine hopefully tomorrow

I’ve not read the other comments yet but one lady in another video maybe once a month or some thing unscrews the bottom of the machine and then she uses those generic mascara wands and she is able to clean out even more lint
