I think we all make the number 1 mistake of sharing too much info. My biggest downfall is filling out info for a website. If there is an create an account page i"ll just willingly throw my information on there to use the site instead of first analyzing to ensure its legitamacy.

Nice Tips for online security. I am using K7 Total Security for last 5 years, since then there were no issues with security concerns. Perfect security software for windows.

I have noticed in face book there are so many "friends" requests I never asked for. I learned about getting a username with many characters. I am trying to keep up with them. This is some very good information. Wow.

I enjoyed this video. I use many of these same videos in my classroom to teach digital citizenship but was unable to save them or comment on them. It does make me feel a sense of safety in protecting out students though.

I still have no idea how pepole are getting into this.
This padlock on browser and HTTPS does not mean the page is safe.
It only means that data that is transfered via internet uses SHA encryption and it has vallid encryption certificates.
That's it. Anyone can have those.
This can work sometimes as scammers are lazy, they try to steal from you by lowest effort.
If site is HTTP it does mean it is unsafe. It only means that data is not encrypted.
