I have been stuck at 1500 for many months. Yesterday, I watched your video, "My Thinking System". I then went online to play, and beat a1650 rated opponent, and then an 1820 rated opponent in 30 minute rapid games. Today, I beat a 1700. I purchased the whole Thinking System course. I will let you know how it goes😀

Thank you for this technique.

Also, it's very refreshing to see a chess player on YouTube that is interesting and serious about teaching. Too many chess YouTube content creators will yell, get excited, swear and generally display a lack of self control that is so common on YouTube. Thank you for being yourself and not a loud YouTube personality. It's more enjoyable to watch your material.

Thanks! Ofcourse the first 5 games I played hoping to get this my opponents did completely different things, and by the time I actually got it in a game I had already forgotten half the theory from the video

But what if white doesn't attack the knight with a pawn move but prevents check with the dark squared bishop or even nd2?
(After be2 you can still pin the bishop so there is still the threat I guess)
But what about those moves?
I would have liked to see that in the video because I feel like those are pretty natural moves and they aren't losing, are they?

Indeed GOOD to mention Stockfish options. The draw is nice and mating continuations a lot of fun threats.

white bishop in D3 and not the move of the pawn c2-c3. There is a protection of the pawn C2-c3, the diagonal b1-H7 and of course the square C2. I think the black attack is stopped.

2:22 why are the options Nf5 or Bd3 aren't valid here for white?

Adamisko šach invented this, he’s a really cool YouTuber, if you like the modern scandi you guys should check him out, he calls this the, “Xena attack.”

After the black knight gets the white rook with a fork, white will move his light square bishop from e2 to d3 to trap the black knight in the corner instead of moving the dark square bishop.

What about bishop to king3 after knight pushing forward?

after Nb4 can white just play Bd3? i know it just trades the knight for a bishop but i think it prevents black from controlling those light squares around the king early in the game.
