In this video, I'll challenge two random chess players, in an effort to demonstrate just how powerful the Rat defense can be. A good thing about this easy defense is that it’s really universal, really simple, and, therefore, really practical. You don’t need to study deep theories in order to play this defense.

The player in the first game didn't play like a 1400 player. I see he had a ? after his rating, so I guess it was a provisional rating. Not a good demonstration of the Rat Opening, but a good demonstration of your standard ideas of attacking f2 and f7. Good video.
