Vegan Goldfish Cracker Recipe #shorts

If breastmilk is liquid gold, these goldfish are a golden treat. A perfect, worry-free on-the-go snack, with just the right amount of spice to continue to taste-train your tot’s palate.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose or gluten-free flour
- 5 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided into 2 parts (1/2 teaspoon each)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 6 tablespoons vegan butter at room temperature
- 1-4 tablespoons cold water

Recipe Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In an electric mixer with a paddle attachment, combine all ingredients except for cold water.
3. Blend on medium speed until the mixture begins to turn into a crumble.
4. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until a dough is formed (you shouldn’t need more than 4 tablespoons of water for a good dough)
5. Remove the dough from the food processor and place in a bowl.
6. Roll out the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper to prevent sticking. You want the dough to be about 1/4” in thickness.
7. Using a fish-shaped cookie cutter (or whatever other shapes you have), cut the dough and line your shapes on the non-stick baking sheet. Sprinkle the second half of the salt on top of the dough shapes.
8. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the bottom of the cracker is golden brown.
9. Let cool, then enjoy!

Notes:
For a gluten-free option, replace whole-wheat flour with oat flour.
