How to build:
1)Buy PVC pipes at a local warehouse store or improvise by using anything that is a tubed shape
2)Use a container to place the dry ice(in this case we used a lowes container)
3)Purchase Dry Ice at a local supermarket if carried
4)Tape, Scissors, and plastic bottles to make the traps
5)PVC pipes were not glued to the container, a hole was made on the cover to allow the smoke to dissipate.

Wouldn't the dry ice still give off CO2 without the water, and last longer?

Did you know that you can make a ton of carbon dioxide with muriatic acid and baking soda? No dry ice!

As a retired power lineman. I am so thankful that younger generation is working to find a way to stop mosquitoes form killing people. The mosquitoes would be so bad in some places at night we would put our rain slicker ( rain suit) and have to tape close the bottom of the pant legs and the end of or jacket Sleeves . We would wait until everyone was ready to work before we turned on any spotlight because the lights would attract them.

Keep improving and getting better ideas. As Thomas Edison once said, "I've successfully found 10, 000 ways that will not work."

A better mosquito trap is a fan with a fine mesh stretched across the intake side. They get sucked towards the fan and get stuck on the mesh. This will catch hundreds of mosquitoes an hour in an infested area. Btw bacteria and viruses kill a lot more than 750k a year, as do other humans.
