Congratulations to Singapore Airlines for being the world's best airline and Congratulations to all hard-working Singaporian men and women for their many great achievements in their very tiny country in many economic fields such as airline industry, ports and airports, banking services, tourism and in many other fields such as hygiene, education, science and technology, good governance, housing, water management, health, transportation, urban planning, spatial planning, trash management, ecology and even food.

Very interesting. Didn't know about the flavour changes that occur. Nice video. Keep up the good work.

Isn't smoked trout simply a lower cost alternative to smoked salmon? Seems like a creative way to cut costs by the airline.

Something about bare hands touching raw fish makes it first class worthiness

smoked trout is not fresh fish. it's definitionally preserved (by smoking). You could even "fresher" smoked fish from Acme which produces it in Brooklyn, 100 miles closer to JFK and EWR. The entire story here seems to be that they bought a brand of fish produced in NY instead of a brand produced in Europe or South America. So what?

Forget the fish, just give me enough space to breathe.

Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates all have the best service for airlines in the world, even if you aren't in the hella expensive first or business class.

I don’t like “fresh” fish that has been sitting around for any amount of time beyond an hour or so. By that, I mean from the time it is prepared until the actual serving time. Also, the airplane cabin may smell like fish for some period of time after the dish is served. Especially when served raw or sashimi style.

This is pretty much an ad but what ads should be.

Fresh Fish doesn't mean anything if it's Farmed Fish...
