What Singapore Airlines’ First, Business, And Economy Classes Are Like | Insider Business

I flew 40 hours from NYC to Singapore and back to see which cabin on Singapore Airlines was best. The first-class suite alone is one of the most expensive plane tickets in the world and can cost $23,000 round-trip. I even met YouTuber MrBeast on that flight. After reviewing the food, service, and seats, I had one favorite that might surprise you. Insider paid a media rate for these flights.

The journalist that tricked Business Insider into funding first class trips to Singapore is a genius

First time Mr. Beast has ever shown up in a video casually without the thumbnail being click-baited to all hell lol

I wonder if them being on the same flight as Mr. Beast wasn't a coincidence. Singapore Airlines probably knew both had put in requests to have film crew onboard, and decided to put both of them on the same flight with no other regular revenue passengers. That way not only would there be no other first class passengers getting disturbed by business insider and mr. beast, but the airline could also pre-plan a special crew that was more flexible and adaptive with filming since the videos are probably sponsored.

The fact that they got Mr Beast and his crew give a glowing review of Singapore airlines first class is a huge PR hit

The hospitality of Asian airlines in general is unbeatable.

My experience with Singapore airlines last year was outstanding considering it was long haul with 2 toddlers. Just the way they interact with us was worth every penny and made us realize how terrible us domestic flights to compare.
We will fly with them again.

Well done. The American based carriers have a lot to learn. Singapore Airlines is a leader but what is impressive is the business class. My own parents (when they were still alive) would travel on Korean Air Lines on business class and enjoyed the service on KAL. I have no doubt if my parents were still alive and traveling SAL, they would enjoy the amenities. My dad (God rest his soul) always wanted to be pampered.

Honestly the staff on Singapore are always amazing. Whenever I leave a Singapore flight I feel like I’m leaving their care, they’re so nice

I flew regular economy on Singapore in the early 2000s. No other airline can beat it before or since. The food was still the best I remember.

Emirates, Etihad Airlines Qatar Airways, Korea Air, Singapore Airlines are some of the top airlines in terms of service & quality (even for economy) although most especially for business & first.

I've flown Singapore in both economy and business. It's basically the only airline I fly to Asia. Even their economy seats are great, and I have no qualms about flying with them. But man, the business class trip was an absolute treat. United first class to Germany was a joke in comparison to Singapore business class.

Newer planes with their Aluminum-Carbon Fiber fuselage can now allow relative humidity at 35%, whereas before 10% was the norm to keep corrosion at bay.
So with a 35% food now tastes nearly the same as on ground without needed extra salt, but some spices enhance the better flavor.

I think I underestimate how much I love this YouTube channel. It never gets old and I like the vlog-u-mentary style. Still 40 hours in air is still a long freaking time to be flying.

Singapore airline offered me a special deal when they realized that my 80+ years old mother was traveling home. Unfortunately we decided not to go for it for different reason. It was very caring of them to offer to cater those who might need extra help and service. The only airline I could compare in service was japan airlines, who were as caring as Singapore airline.

For future reference, screen size is measured diagonally corner to corner, not just across horizontally.

Most of us will never fly a first or business class for life so it is nice to have a video here that shows what we are missing out on😄

I love Singapore Airlines, they're not the cheapest for my usual trip but heck does it make all the difference in service, and stopping past Changi is a massive bonus
