Tip # 3 definitely spot on. If I lay on my right side I get heartburn but when I lay on my left side I don't have heartburn.

Eat approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup of raw oats before going to bed and problem solved. I suffered for years, waking up choking with acid in my mouth, nose and sinuses and nothing helped until I tried plain Quaker oats and it works every time. If I eat or drink too close to bedtime I just eat a handful of dry oats with a little water to wash it down. The oats will absorb excess liquid and keep the acid down in the stomach where it belongs. It may sound weird but it works for me every time. I forgot to mention this when I posted this but I also take 1 20 mg omeprazole with sodium bicarbonate per day. It helps reduce the acid. The oats just help keep the liquid down in the stomach where it belongs. What I eat, and especially how close to bedtime I eat play a major part in my acid reflux issues. That being said, my best nights are when I eat dinner early, limit liquid intake to small amounts of water only, take my omeprazole and if I do all that I usually don’t have an issue. If something happens and I eat late or drink too much, too late, I’ll just go ahead and eat the oats as a preventative measure. They have been the best choice for me to prevent my acid reflux and also help greatly in the process of stopping an active reflux episode. I really hope this helps someone out because I know how bad reflux can be. Good luck to you all!

I cured my severe acid reflux by drinking a gallon of aloe vera juice every week. I didn’t do anything you said here. That was 20 years ago

I've done all three of these with no relief. I've found that breathing techniques and reflexology seems to help best.

I stopped taking Tylenol or Advil back in early 2000 after I had read that those analgesics makes our stomach sphincter relaxed and cause the acid reflux.

I notice I get acid reflux when I don't burp. After I drink a carbonated drink and burp, my acid reflux has subsided or I chew mint gum. And it helps.

Very small breakfast. 2 tbsp rice for lunch 2tbsp rice for dinner and still avid reflux. My food is also bland😢😢😢

Help! I used to take magnesium bisglycinate powder with lemon juice because it tastes like fish and metal but since I've had acid reflux I've had to stop the lemon. I still have a large container of M-BG left what else can I take it with. Water just doesn't take away that horrible taste.

Apple Cider Vinegar in water equal parts works wonders my friend had Acid reflux and I told him about ACV and he is basically cured...maybe once in a long while he may get it but he is 95% cured. Hope this helps.

Dead on for me I did the reverse fast so get up eat and lunch is light then 4 not later if I can’t eat before four to bad for me until breakfast so fast from 4 pm to 830am 9 sometimes I’ll go to noon but still stop at 4 pm this way I never have reflux and sleep much better
PS I get up at 4 am leave at 430 for 60 min walk until 530 have a merry Christmas 🎁
