I have to correct your step one. Before leveling you need to check that you will reach water/power in and sewage out. You've gotten used to eyeballing that but newbies not so much (as newbies we know.) Love your channel!

Loved this setup video. I've been looking at trailers lately and think it would be a good addition to our family and being able to get out in nature would be a life saver

Odd to say but setting up the RV when we got to our Favorite park was an enjoyable part of it for me and my wife! I guess making a home appealed to both of us! Putting the slides and awning out setting up rugs, chairs and grill! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤠🕺🏼

One thing I do different. When the sewer hose is in the box, I shorten it as much as it will then connect both ends together. Makes a rectangle that fits nicely in the box. No mess and since sealed, will stay near that size.

3:29 Pro Tip - use extra wood blocks to shorten the distance the scissor jacks have to travel = better stabilization

Were selling out house, and rv'ing cross country. likely from here in CA to TX, then to FL for the majority. Were a pack of 2 adults, 2 kids (10 & 8) and 2 dogs. 32ft trailer with quad cab f250. Its amazing how similar our stories seem! Thanks for the insight !

Hi there -- we've been out a few years between a pop up and now a travel trailer camper -- been looking around to get some tips and hacks to make the travel easier -- The one thing that I picked up and would share is wehn you are getting in the site with a slide - You didn't address this in your video - most people use a tape measure -- what I do now is = I have a peice of 1x2 painted orange that is 6 in longer than the distance from my tires to the end of the extended slide - so before you back in (or pull through) put the 1x2 down at the closest obstacle and keep the wheels to the outside of the 1x2 and boom!! there you are placed with enough room for the slide . Just a thought to make set up a bit easier -- Happy Travels
