THAT GREEN GUARD SHOULD BE FLUS WITH THE FINISHED TILE?
IF YOU PLACE A 2X4 ON THE BACK SIDE AND THEM ATTACH/SCREW THE VALVE PLUS YOUR TILE SHOULD BE AROUND FLUSH/EVENLY WITH THE FINISH TILE.?
WHY LOOKS LIKE HALF INCH DEEPER?
WILL BE A FUTURE PROBLEM?

I always put the temperature gauge at 12 o’clock. Sitting out at one or 2 o’clock is too cold. Wait till after inspection center at noon

Installed too deep in the wall. Now you have to remove the trim just to change a cartridge.
