preview_player
Показать описание
Start your lettuce from seed and keep harvesting lettuce leaves as lettuce grows. Once the lettuce head matures and is ready for harvest. Cut the stem just above the soil level and harvest the whole head of lettuce. Lettuce will then continue to regrow again and again upto 3 times from the same plant. Enjoy the new leaves!!

Would have been cool if you added another but wait there's more and let one go to seed. This is the ultimate gift that keeps on giving.

Got the notification and clicked so fast. Love your videos, the footage is so beautiful. I’ve got some lettuce growing already, the idea for the lettuce wrap looks delicious.

I think you should make some episodes where you show you cooking dishes with ingredients from your garden 👍👍

Thanks again Jag, because of a certain virus, I became stranded in the Azuero peninsula of the Republic of Panama. I'm a Realtor and to occupy my spare time I decided to start a raised bed garden (216 individual lots of one square foot). I'm having a hard time finding what can grow under this tropical climate, and so far it looks like sweet potato is feeling right at home. Attempting to grow lettuce and kale... Take care my friend.

What a great lettuce video. I was feeling bad that I have lettuce ready to harvest but didn’t set seed till last week and wondering how many weeks I’d need to market for lettuce. I think that now I will just enjoy my current plants till the new plugs are ready to start planting from. Thank you so much. Lettuce ( and cucumbers) is one of the few vegetables that just won’t freeze well.

Thank you for the informative video. I was hoping that romaine lettuce would re-grow if harvested by cutting it at ground level. I knew leaf lettuce would but wasn't sure about romaine. Your information has been very helpful.

Thank you for this video. I grew a mesclun blend from seed last year and we ate very delicious lettuce through the fall. Then I decided to pull some of the plants completely out and I cut the others and left the roots like you did in this video. I covered them for the winter and to my surprise lettuce is growing back this year but not as the blend…. Is that ok? LOL what seems to have grown is a tall red leafy one that looks like romaine and a beautiful green leaf lettuce.
