The thing that got me was that Spear and Fang didn’t even attempt to fight it. It felt so unnatural to see this unstoppable duo run away in complete fear. Perfect way to write a horror episode

I love that they chose an Argentinosaurus, a sauropod, to be the threat of this episode. Sauropods have always been depicted to be gentle giants, so to have one of _these things_ charging at you at mach speed trying to kill you is nerve-wrackingly terrifying

That show even with not having any dialogue was so emotional i loved it. With no words you still understand everything the writers and artists were trying to tell you. 10/10 would recommend.

The Mad Argentinosaurus is hands down the toughest enemy in all of Primal. Spear and Fang didn't even attempt to fight him, they just fuckin ran.

For context, when Fang and Spear first encounter the infected sauropod. The walk into an area where there is dead sauropods all over the ground, through various means of execution, and every nest in the area is crushed, all unhatched eggs are crushed. Fang smells one of the corpses and is revolted, not often we see that and when we do its a horrible sign. Then a shadow looms over them, and with its face oozing mucus and all sorts of nastiness the sauropod lowers its head and ROARS at them, the sauropod ROARS.

Spear's dream of him and fang becoming zombies was horrifying and can you IMAGINE the meg in season 2 as a zombie that huge ass fish

Chosing a sauropod was probably one of the best choices the show ever made. An aggressive dinosaur with a zombie virus would just feel like a stronger t rex, but an herbivore, which is typically thought of as pacifist, made to be maddeningly agressive would be so backwards that even after experiencing the shock factor it's still something that is very odd, reminding the viewer that the infected dinosaur wasn't always a killer.

Watching the stages of that magnificent animal slowly succumbing to the disease, was heartbreaking.

I love how this thing is so scary, thay even the main characters, who basically kill everything in their path, just fucking run, they don't even try.

The part where it just kept stomping around in the ribcage of its kin like a cow that found a mud patch was a brutal scene.

I remember when I first saw Plague of Madness. This episode sat my mind for weeks just because of how unnaturally haunting the zombie sauropod was. Never before or since have I seen a zombie in horror fiction be that terrifying and disturbing.

Im pretty sure that this was the first time in the show where spear and Fang were terrified. One of the scariest moment in the episode imo was when the sauropod died thinking there was no way to get to spear and Fang and then reanimated when it realised they were still there
