I love how even without true dialogue we can tell exactly what fang and spear are debating. I don’t need to speak dinosaur to know she was calling him crazy.

In an earlier clip, Spear & Fang settled down in the cave & you could see their sides rising and falling -- then the shot cut to the mad sauropod w/no breath.
In this clip, the sauropod isn't breathing either but we know it's not dead-dead because the pustules are quivering & pulsing. So the sauropod is naturally dead, but still active! I like these little visual touches!

I love how the disease here isn’t posed as something that’s just trying to spread and repopulate (as shown by the murder of the other sauropods) it’s shown as an entirely malevolent entity.

The zombie waits for them, and loses all purpose and falls asleep as soon as it realises it can’t reach them, but rises again when a new opportunity comes instead of wandering off for new prey

Genndy Tartakovsky's Is the master of silence, I mean when making cartoons people often use loud voices and ridiculous dialogue, but he is the only one animator I know that can make two characters that don’t speak words, comunícate with each other.

I like how it seems that they almost when with the "a little sound wakes up the big guy" cliché, but they manage to actually pass the sauropod and then it just wakes up by nothing

Spear speaks almost nothing but gibberish, but man, he is seriously one of the most intelligent characters I’ve ever seen in animation. That’s impressive.

I love that these two have come such a long way. They communicate with sounds. It just blows my mind. This goes to show that dialogue isn't needed, as many people can understand what these two are saying and feeling by their facial expressions. Spear is clearly telling Fang the plan, and Fang is probably saying "Are you insane?!"

Spear: well let's hope it is (starts to tip toe)
Fang: *whispers* What are you doing?! What if its sleeping?!
Spear: *whispers* Well let's tip toe just in case.
(Both start tip toeing slowly but spear knocks down some rocks accidentally) (the sauropod doesnt even flinch)
Spear: *whispers* Told you
Fang: *whispers* I still don't believe you
(Both look at the sauropod's corpse and are disgusted by it) (they walk away but the sauropod starts to get up)
Spear: Don't tell me. It was sleeping wasn't it.
Fang: yup.
(The sauropod attacks but misses and roars and another chase ensues)

Ya know, even though this series is supposed to be super dark, I love how it has these little pockets of humor in-between. I mean, that shared "oh snap!" look between Spear and Fang could've come straight out of Scooby Doo.
