Hello, Norwegian guy here. I want to clarify some things about Pop Tarts. I've never heard about Pop Tarts being banned over here, as it's never been officially sold over here. American foods aren't sold here regularly, rather it's imported over because of interest for american candy. There exist small candy shops that specializes in imported popular candy, and American candy is by far the most common. I've bough Pop Tarts in a Norwegian grocery store for 10$ a pack. Import fees are outrageos here, and they only get one batch once in a while. The Norwegian state want to avoid import goods competing with locally produced goods in price. Instead of making food cheap, get rid of the competitors.

The fruit loops causing ADHD thing reminded me of the time PETA tried to trick people into thinking that milk causes autism. 🤦‍♀️

I live in Poland and I tried Pop-tarts ONCE during a brief window they were available. I honestly felt as if I ate a ball of lead, only instead of lead it was sugar.

Fun Fact: *Employees handling soft drinks like Mountain Dew have to wear insulated gloves at all times when processing it, or risk severe chemical burns from the amount of citric acid and other additives in the formula.*

As someone with ADHD I find funny that I don’t really go out of my way to eat fruit loops cause they’re all the same and I’ve never really had anything worse of ADHD after I eat fruit loops

I was actually hoping to hear the history behind the copyrighted issue with M&Ms. I was also surprised that you didn't put Cheetos on the list. But otherwise great video as always.

Was really interesting to hear your perspective on Gatorade! I always assumed it was a good sports drink, but hearing from an actual runner really challenged my perspective! Personally, I only ever drink it when I'm having intense nausea/vomiting, since most other drinks do not appeal to me when I'm in a state like that and need hydration, and its the only drink my body seems fine handling when that happens. So to me, its less of a sports drink and more of a sickness drink, and this video re-enforces that to me more than ever before!

I love how happy you seemed when you got the go ahead to debunk corn syrup, that was pure joy

Even as a kid I never liked Gatorade, it tasted sweeter than my juice boxes! Thank you Phantom Strider, you've given me the gift of proving my skepticism correct! Happy Holidays!

Wow. This was an interesting video. I took a dietitian course in University, but it was more like you should eat less of this and more of that. I liked that you actually named some grocery items where companies sneak in something to peoples’ foods so customers can keep on coming back for the same item or some other alternative. Anyway, this was a fun and informative video and I hope I get to see more! 😊

Honestly, the best reason to cut most of this stuff out of your diet is because of how full of sugar (and corn, which is used [surprise, surprise] to sweeten things) they are.
