Using IRs with TONEX ▷ How To Load • Using XRIRs • How To Reverse the Polarity

This video walks though the process of loading an IR onto a ToneX pedal using the ToneX software. Additionally, I address the issue of using Tone Factor's new XRIRs with their first run ToneX captures and why you may or may not find them useful. Lastly, I walk through how to reverse the polarity of an IR for anyone using 2 ToneX pedals in stereo (or any other device that uses IRs) and is experiencing issues with phase.

What’s the difference between an XR IR and an IR? And can you load two within one preset like the Helix?

Can anyone help me, i have the latest version of Tonex CS 1.8.1 and i tried many times to load in a Custom IR but it never works?I cannot load even one of my IR's, it never loads them into the Custom Manger list?I contacted support but they have no solution for me!Anyone else having this problem?

Sorry for the dumb question. Does it matter which amp I pair with the XR IRs? I feel like the XR IRs aren’t at their full potential unless I match with the exact amp used in the capture.

I must have an updated version of the ToneX software because I don't have a Player tab and everything looks a little different than yours. Also, my guitar sounds extremely small compared to yours when playing through these. I have a Gretsch Duo Jet with Lollartrons and, while I know it will sound different, I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong here. Any ideas? I have the Apollo Twin X as well and I'm running straight into the Hi-Z input.
