The best thing about the Ping irons, especially for a beginner, is the fitting system. I am 6'3", and bought a set of Ping ISI-K irons white dot, and had them extended 1". It was less than $200 to have a set of irons that were essentially custom fit to me. Without the Ping "dot system", it would've cost well over $1000 to have a set fitted like this, and I wouldn't have bothered to take up golf.

Ordered a set of Ping Eye 2 (3-LW) copper irons in 1986 and they are still in my bag today. Can’t see downgrading to any thing else. Woods, hybrids and putter are also Ping. Only thing I do is keep fresh grips on them to keep them running well. Love the channel, keep the videos coming!

My current iron set in in the bag is the Ping G25s, 5I-LW with graphite shafts set at Sr flex. I have a putter VERY similar to the one you showed today. Mine is the Ping Zing Darby F with is basically just like yours Jon, except mine is the mallet version of it. Found it at a thrift store for $1. and it really putts solid. I use it on courses where I know the greens are very fast.

I've played Taylormade super burner plus irons for probably 10 years now.A friend in our senior scramble league gave me an 8 set of G5 irons with graphite shafts. I absolutely love them. I believe I have found the brand I will purchase from now on. Love your channel.

I'm still playing Ping G5 irons I bought new 15 years ago. Asked my coach whether I should replace them, and his view was they were still up there (whereas my Nike fairway woods were definitely candidates to get swapped out). Love Ping clubs.
