Social Norms

Society is driven by its conventions. Conventions that require you get a job, become a contributing member of society, and fulfil a whole load of other criteria that if you take a moment to think about, is mostly arbitrary and counter-intuitive to your own happiness. Fun times.

At least they're not pushing you to get married or say that something's wrong with you when you dont have a wife and kids at 40+ age like in Balkan countries
They dont want to accept that you are not interested and divorce was shameful in 1970s especially for woman, she was a whore instantly. Now people have accepted divorce, but still they keep privacy in public where everyone speaks about you and your relationships in bars houses etc
It was terrible to grow up there, I'm glad that I played video games over there, I was miserable by social norms and standards and didnt want to be part of their groups. Luckily in 2018 we arrived in Germany and everything has changed for me! Thank you mom and dad for turning my life around and giving me hope

The people of the older worlds were amazing before they got killed by a the inorganic ones. Our ancestors had Advanced Technologies and we seem to be rapidly losing our ability to understand ourselves and where we came from more and more:/ it's sad That everything in this world is chalked up too lines in the sand and money

In certain ways, I don't believe in society and norms. As far as I can tell, these things go without context and undermine it. To clarify with an example, what would you guys think of a guy who started high school at age 16 and graduated at 20, with no context about his background whatsoever?
