FILM DESCRIPTION:
Reese Witherspoon stars in this romantic comedy, the feature film debut of award-winning Australian director Robert Luketic. As a ravishing Miss Hawaiian Tropic, sorority president, and calendar girl, Elle Woods (Witherspoon) is a big hit on the campus of her sun-drenched Los Angeles college. She's also got the perfect boyfriend in Warner Huntington III (Matthew Davis), a wealthy East Coast blue blood. Fearing that his snooty friends and family will never accept the bubble-headed Elle, however, Warner dumps her before heading off to graduate law school at Harvard University. Determined to win back her man, Elle enrolls in the same imposing institution, quickly becoming an object of scorn and ridicule, especially to Warner's old prep school flame (Selma Blair). Despite her penchant for malls, makeup, and tanning, Elle is no dummy and is soon showing elite Ivy League snobs a thing or two about class, self-confidence, and courtroom victory.

I love how Elle just falls in love with the career. You can see how her efforts become less and less about Warner and more about law school.

This and the scene where Vivian tells Elle that Warner was waitlisted, showed how worthless Warner was. Warner lasted 4 hours because of Elle, he got into Harvard because of his dad, and Vivian helped him with school. When he was left on his own, he failed.

i honestly think that guy she talked to at first who explained that the professor was taking first year interns is so underrated. he's just a genuine guy who treats elle just like anyone else in school and not like an outcast from the start.

I really have to say that, Reese’s look here, how her eyebags weren’t that concealed and looking a bit haggard and all, made me really believe that she’s making the most of her time devoted on studying. Coz in reality, it’s really a challenge to take care of yourself while in Law school, not to mention that this is Harvard Law. ☝🏻

Don´t know how about you, but that thing about "This is better than 4 hours in the hot tub with Warner" was so clever... And the way Elle tells it makes me wonder if she´s pretending to be "innocent" for gainning a kind of absolution, like: "You don´t take me seriously, well, I can retaliate with you as much as I want because you would think I´m doing it naively"
