I think as each year passes, the 12.9/13 inch variant of the iPad makes less and less sense. Apple doesn’t want it to replace your laptop, they just want it to be a tablet and not much more. Because of that, I think the 11 inch just makes more sense for 99% of people. It’s much better at being a tablet compared to the 13 inch, plus its way cheaper

ive still got my 2020 12.9 ipad pro and its still going strong, if i do decide to upgrade the tablet i might go with whatever current galaxy tab S Ultra is out at the time. My problem with the iPad pro is that it is so freaking expensive! I have a friend that is planning on buying one for note taking in college which feels insane considering the price plus accessories.

If it can't do a big chunk of the work of a laptop then I struggle to see how it can possibly be worth so much more than a laptop

Been trying the iPad Pro for a week to decide if I wanted the M4 iPad or Macbook Air, you helped confirm all the frustrations I had and even helped me realize exactly what it was for some features that had been bothering me. Really well and thought out video, very much appreciated and will be looking more into the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro for my money💙

Things to change in iPad OS: Fix the file system, resolve the issue with stage manager, allow you to have the Mac OS desktop shared on to iPad just like you do with the iPhone on the Mac. Over all the changes are cosmetic. I can already use a third party calculator. There was nothing that made me want to get the pro as opposed other regular iPad Air.

As a graphic designer, it has been a computer replacement for me. I use affinity Designer, Photo, and Publisher for most of my work, and Procreate. I hardly ever use my mac anymore.

Completely agree. Likewise, using a Surface has different but ultimately the same outcome. The best use case for real work is a tablet and a computer.

I agree with all these points. iPad is not worth getting if you already own a MacBook, unless you have a niche use case like art. And honestly the first gen M series MacBook (M1 Pro in my case) has been SO good that I have't even started to consider upgrading it. I'll probably have it four more years.
