Top 7 Worst Epic Fails in Revit

Here are the worst failures I've ever had as a BIM manager, but also the lesson learned from them.

1- The Floating Floor
2- Updating Revit Model
3- Different groups, phases, worksets and split faces
4- Rendering props showing up in construction documents
5- Model in-place madness
6- Plan Notes Confusion
7- Detail Groups Insanity

PyRevit has the Analyse tool, I use it to fine model in place. Ugh! So much junk! I will allow model in place, but I then show how to convert it to a loadable family.

You forgot to mention that Element in Groups Does not work with Dynamo

the biggest Revit fail is probably the fact that it takes 3 BIM people for every traditional drafter. the second Revit fail is that it sucks fuckin shit
