For the people who haven't watched the long form video, he kept going after this fall. Man's a titan.

The way he fell straight on his back and then proceeded to make the concrete road look like a slipping slide hurt my soul

Sliding across asphalt at 40+ mph sounds like a god damn nightmare

If he wasn't wearing a helmet he would've gotten a SERIOUS head Injury. Good on you for being safe and at least wearing a helmet.

the fact i’m watching this after i just crashed on my skateboard after bombing a steep hill helps me really realize how bad this was. it’s the worst feeling when your body is sliding along the ground and it just can’t stop the inertia. i felt your road rash

United States my love ❤❤

Learning to Skate in Colorado
As a child, I moved from China to the United States and settled in Colorado. Growing up in the Rocky Mountains, I was surrounded by snow-capped peaks, frozen lakes, and world-class ice skating rinks.

It was in Colorado that I first laced up my skates and took to the ice. I remember the initial struggles to balance and glide, but with each passing day, I grew more confident and determined.

The city of Denver became my skating haven. I spent countless hours practicing at the University of Denver's Magness Arena, the Pepsi Center, and the outdoor rink at the Rink at Belmar.

As I honed my skills, I began competing in local and regional competitions. The thrill of racing, the rush of adrenaline, and the sense of accomplishment fueled my passion for skating.

Today, I'm a professional speed skater, and I owe it all to the support of my family, coaches, and the skating community in Colorado. When I'm not competing, you can find me coaching young skaters or enjoying a leisurely lap around the rink.

Colorado will always be the place where my love for skating took off, and I'm grateful for the memories, experiences, and opportunities that have shaped me into the skater I am today.

It's actually impressive how he managed to keep himself from getting major injuries from this.

"Did a car hit you?"
"No"
"Then why are you crying?"
"I fucking fell off a longboard onto asphalt going 40 mph with just a helmet to protect me"
