To use bx_masterdesk PRO’s compressor. Start by choosing two TMT channels. Each channel models the small differences between real life electronic components ,and theoretical schematics. As a result, each TMT channel will have a slightly different sound.
Analog uses different TMT channels while digital uses the same TMT channel.
This compressor applies parallel compression, so the ratio values are quite intense and range from 7.9:1 to 3.2:1. The release values are moderate and range from 100 to 130 milliseconds, right within a good parallel compression range.
Clicking the Glue button enables a VCA type buss compressor. While turning up this knob increases the amount of available headroom.
Finally, there's a Clipper function that pushes the signal by default, but that you can drive your signal into further using this knob.
