POV you live in Europe and there isn’t even an option to turn on any type of alerts

Just a quick note to people that are wondering why your iPhone doesn't have those options.

If you live in Canada the circumstances might be different, the CRTC doesn't allow you to opt out or have access to your emergency alerts which unfortunately you cannot find those in notification.

The only option to opt out in Canada (which I truly not recommend to do) is to switch your phone to 3G since emergency alerts are sent via 4G LTE.

On my iPhone 11 I don't have that option under notification. Where else would I look for?

I went to settings and pushed notifications and scrolled down to the bottom but there is no place there to turn on emergency alerts where are they or why aren’t they on my phone

Ever since I got 7 emergency alerts in a row I’ve never got an emergency alert but now there’s like wildfires going on right now and I wasn’t aware of it until I listen to the news, but I’m looking for the settings to turn on the emergency alert and it’s not showing up on my notification settings.

Here in Communist Canada, these settings are not available and there is no way to stop them. I am considering cancelling my cell service and going phone free.

All the way back in 2021 my parents made me turn them off because they thought it was distracting 😒now I can finally do the test alerts and the public and amber and emergency alerts 🚨
