Man the fact how teens lied about their age to go to war is just crazy

If history was taught this way, like physically and aesthetically, people would be able to understand history more.

Extremely PG version of what the trenches were like, read Pierre Burtons “Vimy”... guys using shin bones as coat hangers, stacked bodies as benches, 12 inch deep mud with your buddies buried underneath..

My grand-grand fathers and uncles were trench soldiers.(A Fleming) After the gaz attacks the English soldiers came to the farm of my grand grand mother en father and they helped them giving them new clothes, cleaning them and gaving them shelter and food and company. My grand mother learned them how to play piano. My grand-grand uncle couldn't speak about it, he was traumatized and designed a crown for the Maria Statue in the cathedral of Antwerp, it is still there. To thank God he survived this war.

0:43 i laughed by the fact i know very well that this is only a stimulation but i try to catch and feel the ambience of what does it feel like to be in the "real trenches of war" but seeing cars in the background is really funny i lose it XD
