I always feel I'm feathering the skin so my lines don't get consistent. It's like Inger confused when I feel the skin and I'm not sure if I should feel drag or not. I wish my lines were this great

I'm a starting artist have done a couple tattoos but just can't get my lines to hold they fade when it healed am I not going deep enough or going to fast? Help would be great 👍
