A well cared for properly maintained (not necessarily babied) late 90s-mid 00s pickup or SUV is so very well worth it pretty much anywhere apart from downtown city areas and that’s only based on simple practicality & parking reasons.

I had two favorite vehicles at different times. One was a 2015 Silverado with a 6.2L V8. Fast as f, 4 wheel drive, so it could go anywhere, and tow 11, 000 pounds, fast.

The other was a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlamd Summit. Had adjustable air suspension, and a 5.7 Hemi. I paid 25k for it 2018.
